I would say that if your dentist gives you the option to have clear braces then you would be wise to go with it! This is because it basically means you can have braces on and no one needs to ever know about it as they cannot be seen.
It might not just be for that, you may have a career that is dependant on the way you look so in cases like these then clear braces really are your only option and you won’t need to have to explain to the boss why you can’t open your mouth or smile for the next year because of all the metal on your teeth! You won’t have to tell anyone!
Some people think that clear braces can’t do the job of metal braces and this simply isn’t true, they are just as effective at moving the in the same manner and in the same amount of time, so there is no worry or concern there.
Now you may wonder why all these people are wanting to have perfect looking teeth but it is not all about what you look like. Your dentist may recommend that you have braces because your bite is out of line or because your teeth are too crowded.
So at the end of the day these braces aren’t just about looking good or having that perfect smile but there are health benefits as well to prevent problems affecting you later on in life. These clear braces just make that process a whole lot easier and usually doesn’t cost a lot more than standard work either.
